DescriptionOur digital accelerometers can be connected to a larger measurement system or used as a stand-alone instrument with a PC. Signals are digitized internally, so the output is a true RS-485 or RS-232 digital signal. Each channel is sampled simultaneously to avoid data skewing, and an internal temperature sensor allows for more sophisticated temperature corrections. The data output can be streamed at up to 3 Mbit/second. With sampling speeds up to 42,500 samples/sec/channel, our digital accelerometers meet the speed requirements of most applications. They measure acceleration from ±1 g to ±500 g in one, two, or three axes, and have been tested to operate in the -40 °C to +85 °C range. Standard termination includes a 4-foot cable with 9-pin male D-subminiature connector, or a terminal block is optionally available.
